Suggestions for improvement
- The IT dept management needs a complete overhaul in order to update the organization to a 1990's level and to make this IT environment a reasonable place to work. Most of the programming staff needs to learn how to program with current technologies.

I dislike about the employer
Career dead end. Management was some of the least competent I've ever dealt with. Compensation is on the low side, while responsibilities and work requirements are demanding. Management had a habit of demanding "free" overtime from contractors and threatened to terminate employment if contractors failed to work additional time to compensate for scheduling issues that management had put into place.
