Suggestions for improvement
- Improve staff development day and make employees feel just as important as students.
Hostile facilities management that only cares about securing their positions and salaries. A lot of politics and internal fighting. You will have no support while others dump their work on you. Human Resources has been terrible for last 20 years. Most important you will have no support with problems. For the work and responsibilities expected-the salary is not good. Senior management routine blames this the person for all problems. They have a very hostile environment towards employee. Big salaried administrators and facilities managers will blame janitors, groundsmen, and the facilities supervisor for low student enrollment.
They are run by people from everywhere but St. Louis. Currently a sinking ship because no one understands what a Community College is supposed to provide besides give fat administrative salaries and pensions to administrators passing through town on their way to the east or west coast job markets.
