It doesn't matter how good you are at your job, it matters how popular you are with others outside the office to make them 'look good'.
Support from management
Supervisors did not want to deal with any situations. There were no realistic targets or clear instructions.
No teamwork. Everyone does their assigned tasks.
Too socially aware. A decision would be made, then someone would comment about it, and decisions change. Nothing was ever firm.
Work Life Balance is personal. Not company driven. Its for each employee to be firm.
The work is easy. Does not even need any schooling or skils. Its more of a social environment.
Suggestions for improvement
- Parish Council needs to stay out of the church's business. Parish council needs to represent the parish and not be involved in the day to day church operations.
What I like about the company
There is so much potential. Great things could come out of the office if anyone was not afraid to go outside of their 'old ways'. Very quick turn around.
What I dislike about the company
Its a church office. You would expect everyone to be peaceful and do the best for the church and community. Also to have an essence of religion. It was all business, very critical of every detail, outside pressure, gossip and rumors flow freely, it wasn't peaceful.
