Support from Management

Leaders were never around. Didn't care about the chaos in the department. Played favorites.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Get the bubba system out and hire knowledgable people, instead of buddies that are substandard.

I like about the employer

The salary.

I dislike about the employer

Favoritism was very obvious. Fairness did not go across the board. We never had a leader on campus. It was always a scramble to find the boss when we had a crisis. This was at all three campuses. When someone called in sick, the "forgot" to find coverage, so you'd often find yourself covering the whole hospital alone.

Company culture

Negative despite advertising that we were compassionate but that compassion did not include staff.

Support from Management

Leadership were puppets and strived to make long term employees want to quit.

Teamwork

Once targeted by management, others did not want to help.

Level of Autonomy

Favoritism shown by charge nurses as to who had the easiest assignment

Communication

Informed of only what they thought we needed to know
