The company pretends to care if you succeed, only because most of the nurses quit before they meet their 90 day anniversary. Very high turnover rate.
Support from management
Goals are too hard to obtain, you have 3 nurses in the office sitting on their behinds while the nurses in the field struggle to get their patients seen.
The nurses in the field help see pts for other nurses if something goes wrong with a patient.
Freedom to work independently
You definitely are on your own out there. You will recieve several emails from the girls in the office about mistakes you made in your charting.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay was great due to all the hours you had to work.
This is the absolute worst part of the job! You will be working from home almost daily. The call schedule is ridiculous because you have to be on call during the week and on some weekends.
Inclusive / Diverse
Not at all. There are 2 African American nurses working there.
Suggestions for improvement
- Better training, quit throwing nurses out of orientation so soon because you can't keep nurses.
