Working at Starbucks was good. I mostly made the beverages. Sometimes it was very busy and very high paced.

What I like

Some positive experience I had working at the company was the customers who made the experience more enjoyable. The manager would try to make the busy times we had more enjoyable even then there were customers who were tough to deal with.

What I dislike

I disapproved of the system of power at Starbucks. My boss'es boss could fire a lot of people that he/she didn't even really know in terms of performance wise.

Suggestions for improvement

I would try to make it more of a community of workers. Kinda felt like there was a big hierarchy between baristas and shifts. Same goes with the supervisors and managers of the store.

What I like

When I first came in for work, I would get demonstrations on how to make coffee taste great.

What I dislike

Sometimes store managers had too much power and had a lot of say on who quits or stays

Suggestions for improvement

I would create some system of justice for deciding if they should fire or keep someone
