Are you a Current or Former Employee? Internship in 2016
Support from Management
They lack any leadership within their management. They show leadership by micro managing and any decision making is soley done by management only. There are no decisions or dialogue with management.
As an intern, you take jobs that will help you grow in your field. The company has failed in this. There is no support and freedom to learn.
They have you on salary and they do this to make you work over 40hrs and not give your overtime or any compensation. The work day is 9-5, and on top of that after-hours during the week and weekends. They will say you they didn't ask you to work those hour, but you need to meet a quota of hours for medi-cal note taking and make sure the notes from the day are submitted no later than the next day. This job requires a lot of medi-cal note taking. If you don't meet your quota or are late on your notes, you're written up. So, no you don't have to work the crazy hours...unless you want to keep your job.
