  • Break it up into 3 departments instead of 1. Establish good hiring practices that are consistent across the department.

What I like about the company

People who work there really care about MN citizens and are hard working.

What I dislike about the company

Poor leadership and management. They tend to hire leaders based on who they know instead of ability and skills. Also tend to hire "yes" people who won't rock the boat.

I am a nurse and this joe b allows me to grow my career in any direction I choose whether it is through leadership or expanding my nursery my knowledge through mental health

  • Better qualified Management and supervisors.

What I dislike about the company

People in Management position are not qualified. They get the positions because if their friendship with hiring supervisor. If your not one of them your chances of promotion is very slim. Also, they use a the Micromanagement style which has made the culture there very Toxic.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Better communication between higher and staffs, at times. And not just listen to one side of the story.

What I like about the company

They have great support system. And help resolve conflict quickly. And their always someone to help with questions. And they offer ton a training to keep you updated on many topics in the healthcare.

What I dislike about the company

That moving up can be challenging since you can be knock out by someone who be there longer even if you are a better fit.
