Talk the cliche Big Team Game. Never encouraged input or interaction from employees. Not a racially or gender diverse organization.
Support from management
Authoritarian leadership style. Employee input not requested and often rebuked
Field sales team shared pertinent market data but was not encouraged to interact by management
Freedom to work independently
Once given management directives you were sent out to accomplish the objectives.
One sided and email directives. Avoid verbal and direct interaction and discussion
Limited opportunities for women
Attitude towards older colleagues
No direct activity to replace senior employees. Most employee input has limited impact on decision making process
Employee responsible for all training after initial orientation.
Overall compensation for your work
Reasonable salary and benefits package. Limited opportunity to advance income
Office / Work Environment
Technologically advanced. Track employees activities thru technology.
Socially aware, very conservative and old school in all interactions
Generally fair regarding vacation schedules.
Most employees would move on if given equal opportunity elsewhere.
Organization is in flux. Some job security as long as all objectives are met.
