- Storage Asset Management, Inc.17.Mar 2016
Bonuses given, but at a hard to reach rate.
Little teamwork, everything changed from week to week.
Communication from the top down fell short, had to find things out other ways.
No advancement, it seems if you aren't in the click you were going no where.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay was ok, insurance once gotten very expensive.
Office / Work Environment
Depending upon where you are placed, some facilities were old and worn others were taken care of.
Due to not wanting too many facility employees, had to go in sick quite a few times since there was no one to work for you.
Since there was no support, facilities were sold without knowledge. Saw too many come and go, so little job stability.
None where I was employed, not sure if there is now.
Since most were old facilities and no maintenance prior to managing was done, could see this being an issue.
The only thing challenging was getting tenants to pay and to try to explain that what works in one area, doesn't in another.

Suggestions for improvement
- Listen to your employees, make incentives reachable.
What I like about the company
Decent pay, benefits were offered.
What I dislike about the company
Limited upper management support. Bonuses were there but unreachable or very hard to accomplish. The management acted as if we didn't know anything, we suggested, but not taken seriously. There is more, but not enough space to list.
