Culture has changed since the past buyout by another company. More focus on statistics
Support from management
While the managers may try to support you, they are limited in scope by company guidelines and policies.
Within my department, interaction with the team is rather good.
Freedom to work independently
Trusted to work alone, heck you're forced to work alone.
Information is slow to come from higher ups
Attitude towards older colleagues
Age not a factor.
Limited room for advancement.
Overall compensation for your work
For the responsibilities given, pay is below average.
Office / Work Environment
As far as call centers go, its average. Technology is a bit behind. but functional.
in the early stages of going green, but still chopping down a rainforest worth of bill inserts to send out sales flyers.
the work life balance is skewed to work. mandatory over time weekly. No consideration for families. you work whats scheduled, and little tolerance for deviations.
Layoffs with the buyout to Altice, and people being forced out due to realignments.
Its as challenging as the customers make it.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diversity is suppressed, better to stick with the status quo
