Support from Management
Management lacks the proper leadership. Instead of motivating employees, managers are too lax in all the wrong areas, and will pass the blame on to subordinates as a result. Instead of hiring reaponsible upper management with knowledge of the field and experience from being in the field of the business and not just sitting behind the desk barking orders, the flow of things would work out much better. Management is just that, a bunch of individuals with or without higher education who got the job because of someone they know. Most of the job opening are never mentioned to senior employees and are outsourced to others who never worked the field and only worked other administrative rokes and are assumed to be responsible enough to manage a few hundred people daily with "Under-Sheriff" like first line supervisors who know even less than the normal field agents do from working in the locations for years.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire individuals with both education and field experience and use the internal promotion deal as promised. I see jobs online all the time from this company, but that is the only way we can find out the position is available. By the time we find it, outsourced individuals are brought in to take over instead of hiring someone who has seniority (all because it would be cheaper for an outsider due to the way the contract is written and the lack of benefits that would have to be provided to the new emplouee compared to a senior employee). Make the job more enjoyable and less regretful and stop the favoritism.
