Support from management
In the time I was there there were 6 different General Managers and only the 5th and 1st one were the best and got things done and made sure we had all necessary supplies. The rest well sometimes they would disappear for hours at a time, you weren't able to contact them in an emergency. We never had supplies needed for our guests the list goes on and on.
We worked well as a team when there wasn't any back biting or drama between certain coworkers.
Office / Work Environment
Often out of supplies under certain leadership. The hotel itself had a pest problem, leaks, outdated equipment
Understaffed. There were only 3 staff members between three shifts for a 24 hour hotel and someone had to always be there. It went on that way for a very long time with a lot of us working 16 days or so in a row. There was no home life at that point just work and sleep and it's still that way now according to current employees
Suggestions for improvement
- More benefits. Better updates for the staff. Greater appreciation for the employees there and not stretching people so thin all the time.
What I dislike about the company
The working conditions are not suitable for anyone. No supplies a lot of the time. Some managers wouldn't answer the phone when needed.
