I enjoy how rewarding big this job is even though it is often very emotionally challenging.
What I like
We have a very strong team atmosphere, and we work very hard for our patients. My coworkers and myself often think outside of the box in order to best assist our patients.
What I dislike
The upper management does not engage with the rest of the team and therefore doesn’t not communicate effectively with the team. Upper management also does not understand what our work looks like on the ground level.
Suggestions for improvement
It would be great to have much more access to upper management. It would help if upper management took the time to learn what the day-to-day processes are for their employees in order to more fully understand what exactly their employees do/how the employees serve and assist the patients.
