Compliments are given on a rare basis. To critique is more of the norm even when staff are not properly trained to complete their duties
Support from management
Partiality, doesn't seek out all avenues about questions. Takes only the word of favorites.
If you are a part of the "in" group there is a lot of support. Once you are no longer a part of the group you're left to fend for yourself
Freedom to work independently
If you are good at what you do. It is felt you can have additional duties even if it over loads the person.
Information is provided on a as need basis or after the fact.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Senior staff are not recognized as supportive staff with knowledge and dedication. Newer staff receive credit sooner than the long time staff
Overall compensation for your work
No staff receive added duties and if they rate at a higher pay scale there is no compensation for extra duties
Office / Work Environment
They repair things within an average of 4 hr increments when requested or you are notified of any changes. Depending on your area, noise levels do affect the work progress
Vacations and time off can be canceled at any moment if the need arises
No they have a great facade
No if you are salary it's not as issue otherwise there is no stability and it has been mentioned at times that you are replaceable
Inclusive / Diverse
Decisions have been decided prior to formally speaking to people involved to know the effectiveness. Concept is that you are replaceable if you don't follow the plan set forth.
Suggestions for improvement
- Recognize staff that are dedicated to them. Do not have partiality, seek out information on a professional basis. Get everyone's opinion or interpretation of situation.
