The company was not the greatest about communications and the proverbial rumor mill was always churning. This creates conflict and hostility.
Support from management
Micro managing and waiting to the last minute to delegate projects to other people does not work.
For the most part our group did work well in the beginning. As people leave, moral diminishes and people worry about their own circle and disregard the overall goal.
Freedom to work independently
Some people got bogged down with the work load and did not receive a helping hand. Management did not restructure work loads to make them evenly distributed.
The lack of communication was bad but improving.
It is a male oriented business and women have to fight to get what they want.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Age didnt seem to play a factor in current employees.
Education reimbursement was not an option and training was minimal.
Overall compensation for your work
Typical benefit. Horrible salary that was not at regional norm. Salary for new hires was at the correct level. season veterans did not get an increase.
Office / Work Environment
Working conditions were clean , safe, and adequate.
For the most part work and life had an equal balance but the blocked days of no vacation or days off.
People do not speak favorably
Job was stable. Low turnover in the beginning.
Elevators available in all buildings
Meets OSHA standard.
I loved the work I did. Never the same two days in a row.
Inclusive / Diverse
Opinions mattered but were not always acted upon .
Suggestions for improvement
