One of the owners was constantly micro managing the employees. Raises were promised but never given and tips were held by the owners for over a three month period instead of given at the end of our shifts.
Support from management
The Store Manager was great to work with. She was easy to talk to if there were any issues. She was extremely friendly and courteous. She put up with alot of personal drama from the owners.
Everyone worked well together.
Freedom to work independently
We were all team players. No one set job was given to each person. We all worked as a team.
Employees were never informed of profits. We were always told we'd receive a bonus if "the next water bill was lower". It was all just talk.
There is no career opportunity here
Attitude towards older colleagues
They will not hire you if you are older. They only want high school or college students. I've seen them turn away older applicants.
No they are not. This is a go nowhere job.
Overall compensation for your work
There are no benefits. They pay pretty decent but tips ate withheld for long periods of time instead of after our shift ended.
This employer will skim off you. If you don't pay attention you will not notice.
I will say they are good about letting you take a vacation break.
This business can fold at any given time. There is no job security.
I always liked to make sure everything was neat and clean. Customer compliments were always given when I worked.

Yes. Diverse opinions and ideas were always supported but not always used.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire more people. Give annual raises. Stop cheating the employees on payroll.
