Employees are just seen as minions to make money for management; they are not seen as anywhere near equal.
Support from management
No leadership at all.
Everybody is out for themselves, no teamwork.
Freedom to work independently
Crews are ran into the ground due to incompetent dispatch and management.
There is no communication between management and the rest of the employees.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Long serving employees are not appreciated anymore than a homeless person off the street.
There is no room for advancement unless you are the general managers best friend.
Overall compensation for your work
This is the lowest paying ambulance company in Southern California, and does not offer benefits. Pay checks are never ready on time.
Office / Work Environment
All the stations are dirty and filled with trash.
There are no vacation days, hours are sporadic and vary week to week, and the company does not take family issues into consideration.
Most disgusting uniforms in the business, it was embarrassing.
They will relieve you of your duties as they please. There is no job security.
There is a complete lack of training company wide! OSHA standards are not met due to oxygen cylinders not being secured at each station.
Inclusive / Diverse
It's managements way or the highway! Opinions are not taken into consideration.
Suggestions for improvement
- Sell the company and never look back! This is not for everybody.
What I like about the company
There is nothing good about this company. The best day will be your last day, guaranteed!
What I dislike about the company
The lack of knowledge and training for all employees.
