What I like

I have been able to grow within the company and plan to remain for a very long time

What I dislike

Not all departments are the same. Some departments do not have the positive culture, support, and competitive compensation that others have.

Suggestions for improvement

Culture in one specific department that I do not work in is seen as negative. This department focuses on quantitative rather than qualitative results and penalizes staff

At Talbert House, I was doing work I really cared about, but management allowed staff to get away with breaking rules.

What I like

I liked the field of work. Some of the counselors were great. They did offer trainings.

What I dislike

Management should listen to their employees when it comes to concerns about other employees. Take the documentation provided and get rid of the employees who are failing at their jobs instead of keeping them around to drag the others down. Make the changes promised in youth residential.

Suggestions for improvement

Hire people with experience. Raise pay so that the experienced people want to stay.

Upper management is arrogant with a punitive culture and poor communication to employees.

What I like

My individual workgroup is top notch and very supportive.

What I dislike

Never asking the opinions of the people who do the work is a mistake. approaching other organizations in a domineering manner loses their interest in working together.

Suggestions for improvement

Fairer policies on bonus for supervisors, higher pay scale overall, less micromanagement from HR, improved efficiency in finance department.

What I like

I like the opportunity to reach out to the community and volunteer

What I dislike

Benefits are terrible. You have to use PTO for your holiday. It's a dead end job.

Revamp management and reevaluate the benefits structure and the work/life balance

Support from management

The president regularly gets bonuses but takes it away from his employees and poorly compensates everyone for their strenuous work. There are no policies in place and no one communicates with each other about changes
