Not very diverse.

You have support if you are very liked and in a click.
The department I worked in only helped if you are on a certain surgical team. And that team only helped their team members instead of helping everyone.
No good communication. Some will leave you hanging out to dry before informing you in what is going on.
Yes I would think. The medical field in the Operating Room is mostly women. And without being a doctor it is hard to move up in a lead role or management because it is all about who you know.
