target marketing group Review
Interesting place …
What I like
I get a 1-hour lunch break. It’s not paid but It’s great to be able to relax and run errands
Suggestions for improvement
Getting an outside HR contact would be ideal. Having to address your concerns/problems with the same bosses that determine who’s hired/fired is a big deterrent
It’s a “family” feel since most of the employees have been there for 10+ years. But, with that comes challenges for new employees; you either fit in or you don’t.
There doesn’t seem to be an understanding on confidentiality concerning … it’s a workplace ruled by gossip.
Teamwork is strong when you’re new, but seems to dwindle away once you show you have a grasp of your work.
I’m not required to log on remotely/work from home.m
Support from management
Most decisions are made in the weekly meetings that only include the department heads; the employees of each department basically just get an update on new procedures.
Freedom to work independently
The more work you can do independently, the better.
Inclusive / Diverse
The office isn’t really diverse …
Attitude towards older colleagues
Most of the older employees have been there since the company began
Office / Work Environment
It’s freezing in the office all year long. We have to get personal heaters to keep under our desks.
Depends on the department and your assigned sales reps/customers.
