Company Culture

TargetX used to be a great place to work, but is now under new management. The new management is about "winning" at all costs. What used to be a fun place with a friendly atmosphere is now a cut-throat blame factory for missed deadlines and failed projects.

Support from management

The goals are clear, the expectations are not realistic.

Teamwork

This was the BEST place for teamwork when I started here. This wasn't a team, it was a family. But as the new management has piled on the work, teamwork has all but evaporated.

Freedom to work independently

This was the case when I left. I now understand that it is no longer the case.

Internal Communication

Communication is good, even great!

Career Development

There's plenty of room to move up, because people are jumping ship quarterly. Some people I assumed were "lifers" recently left the company.

Office / Work Environment

The Philadelphia HQ is adequate, but too noisy when everyone is in the office (working from home is encouraged). There are frequent problems with the email (Google) and network outages.

Work-Life Balance

It used to. Now it pretty much wants you to work 12-16 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Company Image

I *was* very proud to work here.

Challenging Work

The work was challenging and rewarding while I was there because you were supporting your teammates. Working hard felt good. But when the hard work didn't let up, and got doubled and re-doubled, I left.

Inclusive / Diverse

No problems with diversity!
