After hire, very little communication.
Do not let this company talk you into contract work.
Suggestions for improvement
- More communication and be more upfront and honest about their client's negatives. TCI should allow a potential new consultant to talk to an existing contractor already at a client. That way, the new potential consultant can make a better decision whether working for that client or not.
What I like about the company
Average. I have worked with a better consulting company in the past.
What I dislike about the company
I did not like how TCI strongly sell you into taking a open ended contract opportunity with one of their favorite largest client in Findlay, Ohio. Once hired, you won't hear from TCI barely again. That was ok with me. My issue is that TCI wasn't truly upfront fully disclosing the negatives about their client's management and political problems there. Also, found out that the whole purpose of the open ended contract is so you as a contractor train existing junior developers and interns there. That way, way when the project is done, their client can let you go and let the junior employees at less salary support the existing system you help created and trained. I felt TCI should have told me this upfront among other issues at their findlay ohio client before I accepted and moved.
