Company Culture

The culture of the Philly region is missing a truth an honesty. We say we care about our team members but fail them in so many ways. The fact of the matter is we the employees are yelled at daily by customers and not protected by our “leaders” Racial slurs are yelled out at us and no one cares. The customer is always right at any and all costs.

Support from management

Again no support unless you are white, a female or a person from the LGBTQ community....

Teamwork

Only if you are white a female or an LGBTQ person. Everyone else is on their own.

Freedom to work independently

Sometimes if you are lucky

Internal Communication

There is none.

Gender Equality

Straight Men don’t have a chance

Attitude towards older colleagues

Those colleges are somewhat respected because they use them for their knowledge and experience.

Career Development

If you are a favorite or one that upper management like regardless of your performance your career development is promising. If not you’re out of luck.

Overall compensation for your work

Compensation is ok if you keep asking to be paid fairly.

Office / Work Environment

If you are running a department you can help make your department a fun one, until upper management steps in to dictate what your environment should look like.

Environmental Friendliness

Again if it’s your department it’s up to you. Until upper management dictates what is should look like.

Work-Life Balance

Constantly told everything is a priority with not enough time in a week. Someone actually told a co worker of mine he needed to work 6 days a week to have his department run. No work life balance.

Company Image

The image is a total lie

Job Security

People can not perform and get promoted daily.

Workplace Safety

Retail stores getting robbed monthly with no urgency to have better security.

Challenging Work

Sometime, gets redundant

Inclusive / Diverse

Not diverse at all.

Suggestions for improvement

  • If you are going to promote gender equality, actually do it for ALL genders including Straight men.
