Management isn't capable of giving clear direction due to the promotion of employees into supervisor positions prematurely. This company operates much like a call center with micromanaged phone representatives making call after call in attempt to recruit tech professionals. Employees are expected to be on the phone for a minimum of 10 hours per day. The mass hiring of so many phone solicitors creates a need for moving people into supervisor roles before they have the experience or knowledge to support the new employees effectively. The result is pure chaos which is extremely overwhelming & causes great confusion. Consequently, the turnover rate is very high.
The overall head-hunting mentality with phone representatives making countless calls from the same database results in many calls made to the same individual for the recruiting of multiple positions. Your co-worker is calling the same person you're trying to recruit for a different position. Team work doesn't exist when 15 people are trying to fill different positions with one recruit.
