Suggestions for improvement
- Employee's are people not numbers. Don't call a review a merit review when it has no effect on whether you will get a raise or not. Nothing meritorious about it. The director or VP of your division gets a lump sum of money and they distribute as they choose. There is no mechanism or structure to follow, so it doesn't matter if you get all 5's(high as you can get) if they don't like you or are told by higher ups to make sure somebody's niece or nephew or cousin gets a raise you are up the creek regardless of your productivity or effort.
