Company Culture

Everyone was very open and accepting, but since it was an at-home job we didn't really deal with each other on a personal level.

Management was willing to work with you as best they could.

Most of the communication was done through memos and could have been better.

  • Team-building exercises and social activities to grow team comradery. Better communication and better pay.

What I like about the company

Everyone was really friendly, open, and welcoming. It was a good experience trying to work at home, even if it didn't work out in the end. Very flexible and pros include lack of a commute and being able to work from your home.

What I dislike about the company

Lack of communication. The feeling of being just another number. Compensation could be more competitive.

Agents are not allowed to talk on the clock if they are not with a customer talking is discouraged and they should starte at screen and review trainings

Employees are consistently being monitored and are not allowed to really interact with anyone other than computer

Supervisors to agent communication is great but no upper management input

Women are the least likely to move up due to the managers take on younger females than herself

several older employees are turned away due to the technical aspect of the job

So much favoritism - you need to be there a long time or be freinds with the manager

Good pay for a call center compared to others in town

the air condition hasnt worked and without 300 agents at a time it gets uncomfortable

the schedule covers 24 hr periods and only empolyees with years of tenure or employees who are friends with upper management get weekends off

It has a horrible reputation and I feel embarrased at times to say how many years I was there

As a supervisor you are there until you leave basically - Everyone I know left but was never fired

only 1 restroom, agents on crutches or pregnant empolyees have to walk several yards to the restroom and only 4 stalls for 700 employees at once

so many accidents have happened and unauthorized people enter the building due to lack of security

Challenging Work

As a supervisor for a technical project the amount of responsibilities left on you is unreasonable to complete in a 40 hr week .

Suggestions for improvement

  • Have an ACCM that practices what she preaches. If the supervisors need to act a certain way then so should upper management. For promotions it should not be up to the manager it should be a human resource section to hire and promote

What I like about the company

I had great supervisors as an agent. When I became a supervisor I wish I had the same support. Entry level agents will love their team and direct supervisors because they all look out for you. Its decent pay and provides steady hours.

What I dislike about the company

The management is definitely what makes this place a bad work place. There is no support and no one checks in to ensure policies are being followed. SO much favoritism takes place its impossible to have a good team in place when the qualities that they look for have nothing to do with qualifications.

Suggestions for improvement

  • I would offer a more flexible working schedule and training schedule, I would offer a regular job structure such as full time or part time, I would offer bus passes or make sure that the public transportation employees knew about programs that could help with this issue, and I would offer more pay which they have already done for their employees.

What I like about the company

The positive personal experiences that I had at this company was when I was offered the Monday Thru Friday schedule instead of working my Tuesday Thru Saturday schedule because this schedule was much more convenient for me because of my public transportation needs.

What I dislike about the company

The only that I disapprove about this company was their seasonal job structure, and their set time training schedule because if this this company had a better training policy schedule for starting their training at 9:00a.m.until 1:00p.m.or 2:00p.m in the evening. I believe they would have more employees working here, and if this company offered more remote jobs they would have some what better employees working for them.
