Suggestions for improvement

  • Increase employee salary. Increase paid time off, vacation, sick days, and the like. Increase relationships with employees, they are human beings with families; don't treat them like garbage.

I like about the employer

Good place to get your foot in the door for the I.T industry.

I dislike about the employer

Very low pay, low level benefits, poor management, overall it's a job you'd want to be at for a short period of time, solely for the basic IT experience.

I like about the employer

I like that they actually paid employees but that's about it

I dislike about the employer

Oh my gosh where do I start? Well number one they don't care about the employees in regards to emergency situations and health situations. As a former employee at Teleperformance, I was horrified at how people at the business handled situations that require empathy. We worked as a third-party company for USAA insurance and was always trained to provide empathy for the members of USAA over the phone s. However we were not provided the same empathy when we had emergency situations of our own. Although I was promoted at the company, I saw some things that I didn't agree with and I doubt I was the only one. They are horrible when it comes to time off and what makes matters worse is if feels like they almost punish you for having a life outside of the workplace. I even had a situation where I had to help someone attain medical help because the coworker had diabetes and was almost unconscious and needed medical attention. What was unfair was that she ended up accumulating points because she had to go to the hospital for that day. They have a point system for absences however and emergencies like those they were used against us only to stack up later to be enough points to fire us once we reached a certain level of points. In addition there were many women in the workplace that were going through pregnancies or already had kids and head to decipher at times in between picking up their kids from school and leaving early and accumulating points for absence in early leave or stay there and work and have their kids not know where to go. I also believe that there's more where that came from and there is some shady unethical business practices that are going on at that particular headquarters.
