They are happy to blame you if things go south, and if you want help with something, they are not the ones you ask.

Their idea of teamwork is for you to do as much work as possible.

Communication is NON existent.

Career Development

This is a dead end job. You get to advance a little, but all it means is 10x the work for a $1 pay raise.

Work-Life Balance

As far as this company is concerned, you are not a person. You don't HAVE a personal life when you work here.

Job Security

I have seen people get fired for stupid reasons, just because management doesn't like them. You will also get fired possibly, if your software messes up and you miss a call. They don't believe in the idea that software is fallible.

Workplace Safety

One of their products is a deadly rat poison, and they keep it there on the shelf where people can accidentally touch it.

Challenging Work

The job gets very monotonous and boring after awhile. The same customers call in and ask the same questions, or make the same complaints, day in and day out.

What I like about the company

The only good thing I can really say about this place is that my co-workers were amazing and friendly people, they supported me in everything I did and never gave me a hard time. They took time out of their day to say hey to me, and over all, they were very sweet. I miss them for sure, but that's all I miss.

What I dislike about the company

NO communication. Poor management. Hypocritical rules - they tell you not to have your phone out and not to eat at your desk, but one manager will sit there and play Candy Crush, and they ALL eat at their desks ALL THE TIME.

You are not treated like a person, but some disposable thing that they use and throw away when it's no longer useful.

Teamwork

Teamwork between leadership and the reps is terrible, but they (leadership) try. You pretty much have to ask another rep for help whether its for a reason code or trying to double check on the way we are supposed to handle certain calls. The cilent change things all the time and the reps won't know about it until your getting wrote or a verbal warning.

Internal Communication

Leadership is terrible about communication. They do talk to each other and if you ask them to do something for you, it takes them forever and you pretty much have to bug them about it.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Leadership needs to work on themselves and work with each other before trying to improve anything else.

What I like about the company

I like it because there are many channels to learn to be able to do something different all the tine but once you step up and become a tier 2 (supervisor for the callers) you don't do anything else. Unless its on a weekend whwn we are slow or during ramp down.

  • Direct supervisors should be required to know how to do the job of the people they manage and encouraged to spend more time supporting the employees. People higher up in the company should consider cutting their salaries and perks to provide better pay and benefits for the people who make it possible for them to have their jobs.

I've met some great people working here.

What I dislike about the company

The vast majority of people working here are low-level employees. They have the most responsibility for the client's satisfaction but are treated and paid the worst. Top level management salaries should be lowered to increase the pay rate for the people doing the actual work. Mid-level management needs more training so they can interact with the employees better and help them more with the work they do.

I had several job duties there my work was always complete and management always trusted me to get things done on my own

When I was there it was a lot of drama. Employees were very self entitled and acted childish

I did a lot of work for very little money. Stayed around 3 years and was not even making 10 an hour when I left

I saw managers loose they're jobs on a whim

  • They will never stop having a high turn over rate until they start showing more loyalty to their employees. They have trouble finding people because they have worked their way through most of the vally

Freedom to work independently

autonomous work activity is micromanaged. Operational and project planning and training are almost non existent. Innovation is not rewarded or encouraged. Individual experience and contribution to corporate goals are seldom honored.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Include the employees in operational improvement processes. Encourage innovation and treat employees with respect. Encourage feedback from the rank and file.
  • For the IT and other technical support units, communicate and listen to your your employees more. Provide up to date technical training. Standardize your procedures, tools, and equipment. Allow a process to complete it transition steps before interferring and altering its outcomes.
