Suggestions for improvement

  • I really enjoy tgis organization. But R & D needs to be ahead of the industry, not playing catchup.

What I like about the company

We have an exemplary C Level team who cares about their employees and outcomes for our customers. When I respect management, it makes me feel great about getting up every day. Right now it's extremely challenging, due to the merger between Teletrac and Navman Wireless, but Its improving by the day.

What I dislike about the company

One challenge is that we are behind the eight ball in several areas regarding R and D. Always trying to catch up. That needs to improve.

Company Culture

They have no idea who they are. Two people cannot express the same thing when asked what they are about or what they products or services they provide. This leaves a lot of ambiguity in priorities and organizational direction.

Support from management

Depends on who your manager is and whether or not you are a favorite.

Teamwork

The people are great.

Internal Communication

There is little to no internal communication which leaves people dissatisfied and distrustful. Even when there is communication, it is not complete and self-promoting rather than truthful.

Gender Equality

There is one woman in senior leadership. ONE.

Attitude towards older colleagues

There aren't very many. Since it is an IT company, it appeals to a younger crowd. The oldest employee just left due to yet another job change and potential demotion.

Career Development

This is laughable. There is nothing provided to help anyone get from one place to the next. It is really about how you are favored at the exec level. And you are pigeon-holed early.

They pay fairly well in general, but not if you calculate per hour.

Depends in which office you work.

Absolutely not.

Work as many hours as you can stand and they ask for more.

1000's of customer complaints, terrible reputation for on-time delivery and product functionality.

Job Security

There are so many changes and people going in and out all the time. Good people are not valued as much as those that can brown nose.
