They are very inconciderate if the family life and work-life balance. Upper management only cares about themselves.

Company Culture

They were a horrible company to work for, especially if you’re a mom who prioritizes her children.

Support from management

All they do is make our job harder.

Teamwork

They want you to compete with each other.

Freedom to work independently

For a while we were forced to call our managers boss every time we left work to let her know how we did on our sales goals that day.

Internal Communication

Goals and policies were constantly changing and we weren’t kept up to speed often.

Gender Equality

Had zero consideration for moms who had kids to take care of as well.

Attitude towards older colleagues

They werent very considerate of the older people who had trouble standing all day.

Career Development

I was promoted but was told I could not move into my new position until they filled my old one. A couple months went by and I was still not able to move to my new position, so I quit.

Overall compensation for your work

Other credit unions have a higher starting wage, and since they’re constantly changing our goals, it’s very hard to get bonuses.

Office / Work Environment

Forced to stand all day.

Environmental Friendliness

Wasted paper like crazy.

Work-Life Balance

They would schedule meetings after hours, once an hour away, and did not care whether or not we had young children at home we needed to be there for. It was also impossible to get off on time even if we had kids to pick up. They didn’t care.

We were getting a gas smell and our manager was mad that we called the fire department because it meant we had to close for a little while.

They were constantly changing sales goals for us and making them harder if we actually managed to meet our goals the last month.

I don’t really know.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Allow for more employees instead of always leaving us short-handed.

What I like about the company

I met some nice people who worked at my branch and they were a good supports when management was making things very difficult on us.

What I dislike about the company

They don’t work hard enough to make sure people can get off on time. That was one of the biggest problems for me. I had children to pick up, but they did not care, I couldn’t leave until they sent someone to cover me and it was much later than my scheduled time off much of the time.
