Suggestions for improvement
- Hiring of local persons to run operations and management of the plant with roots in the community and a vested interest in the success of the plant as a vital part of the local economy.
I like about the employer
Good pay,Tenneco has to pay more than the local average,this is the only way they can entice workers to apply there given their reputation in the local community.
I dislike about the employer
Tenneco is a global company,so there are people and management from everywhere who come through as plant managers and upper management constantly.These individuals know their time will be short in the hartwell plant and they have no long range plans in the community or any vested interest in the employees,their main focus is to try and make their self look as good as they can as quickly as they can to end their sentence in hartwell and move on to bigger and better things.
