Suggestions for improvement
- I think the company needs a fundamental overhaul, but in this day and age for a worker who has in demand job skills there is no real incentive to stay with a company that is going through this process. I think business units need to be closed or spun off, and probably the company itself needs to be bought up--it's questionable if it can continue to compete as it is now. Historically TDC was a subsidiary of other larger companies and that's probably what needs to happen again.
I like about the employer
As a major company TDC does hit all the marks in terms of nice benefits and things you'd expect from a competent HR/Benefits department. Good work life balance, no expectation to put in tons of long hours, compared to other employers the 401k match, vacation, stock plan and etc are all on par, some better than average.
