Most of the employees fabricate or embellish stories about coworkers and managers to try and portray themselves in a positive light. It is constant chaos & unnecessary drama on a daily basis.
Managers are openly dishonest, setting the example for employees.
Freedom to work independently
They trust us so much, they disappear to God knows where for extended periods of time.
Managing partner & managers threaten employees with less shifts if weekly sales goals aren't met.
I asked for more responsibility & was rewarded with one manager lying to another that I wanted to switch departments.
Attitude towards older colleagues
After a major lawsuit exposed the age discrimination.
Office / Work Environment
It is always way too hot or way too cold depending on what area of the restaurant you are.
I was so ashamed to work there that I quit the job before finding another.
It is somewhat challenging to sell certain menu items at select times because of the mentality of the guests.
Suggestions for improvement
- Ensure thorough training. Stop using punishments to threaten your employees & try using rewards & positivity.
What I like about the company
At the end of the night, employees got to take home any leftover rolls. Otherwise, it's a horrible place to be.
What I dislike about the company
Management needs to learn how to be honest & make smarter decisions, stop playing favorites and stop rewarding lazy, dishonest employees.
