As a new employee, I was put in a facility where I was the only Veteran Counselor present. I didn't receive adequate training from my management in order to fulfill my duties. I was isolated from everyone else. Oftentimes, I felt myself "scrambling" on important details pertains to my job.
I was in an area away from the seasoned workers; therefore, I had issues trying to reach them for assistance. I was brand new. It was a "hit and miss."
