Suggestions for improvement
- Need to institute job reviews with a reward system. Need to update equipment and computer systems. Need to give feedback on managers. Need more manpower. Need to streamline hiring process. Need better vacation benefits. Need better procedure update and review process. Need more backup systems. Employees need to be treated fairly and equally across the board. Less micromanaging.
What I like about the company
None. It does however offer a competitive wage. Can’t find other jobs that match the pay, otherwise would have left long ago.
What I dislike about the company
No feedback loops for anything. No proper training especially on new products. No system to critique job performance for managers or coworkers. No vacation for first year. Vacation only accrued once a year. Only 2 weeks vacation for the first 10 years. No LIMS system. New hires make more money than seasoned employees. No monetary rewards for being qualified to run tests. At peak production, not enough manpower. High pressure, high stress for rapid turnaround. Little or no backup for vacation or sick coverage. Always stuck in the same job. No rotating for relief. Unfair treatment.
