The management lacks proper training.
Support from management
I feel like my management likes to push us to the limit and work is a struggle.
People fend for themselves and their own shift versus a team mentality
Freedom to work independently
It's frequently said to "trust no one" in regards to the coworkers
There is little to no communication or constructive criticism in this environment
Attitude towards older colleagues
The older workers are talked down on for not being as capable as younger workers
There are training classes for how to treat customers but not much in the way of advancing unless you're hired at a management position to begin with
Office / Work Environment
Our heating and air has been broken for months despite many work orders being put in.
We have recycling but it isn't enforced
Full time employees must give full availability and little accommodation is made for home lifes.
The company doesn't have as much integrity as I thought before I became an employee
I feel that if I ask for a better work home balance I'd no longer have a stable position.
elevators are available but no ramps or hand rails
I've never had any safety training
The work is something I'm familiar with. The challenges come with problems in management not the tasks assigned.
Inclusive / Diverse
Management controls the influx of ideas and policy. Opinions aren't supported otherwise
Suggestions for improvement
- I think there should be better staffing guidelines to allow for a better work home balance.
What I like about the company
The health and human resources team are efficient anf kind
What I dislike about the company
The management team needs training on how to motivate employees as well as how to share appreciation with the employees and give constructive criticism when mistakes are made.
