Suggestions for improvement
- They should improve on listening to their employees when they notice guest/ hotel issues rather than ignore them. I also feel they need to improve on communication instead of jumping to conclusions and punishing the employee. They also do not seem to care about employees personal life and expects them to practically live there. Its also selfish of the hotel to only pay servers around $2.35 an hour because they are a private family owned company. I also believe they can improve on providing employee breaks and actually feeding the employees when they are hungry. Another area of improvement would be that they shouldn't harass employees to volunteer for the community because its called volunteering for a reason.
What I like about the company
The only positive experience from working for this company was making decent money.
What I dislike about the company
I disapprove of them nearly forcing employees to "volunteer" for the company and they are very judgmental when it comes to being environmentally friendly. They also play favoritism and it is almost impossible to be rewarded when it is due. They only focus on the mistakes employees make and prefer employees to appear robotic rather than being unique individuals. To sum this up, this hotel is like a cult.
