I don't interact often with the other people at my company but when I do it is always positive.

Support from management

They are always available through email and quick to get back to you and answer questions.

Teamwork

I don't see or interact with other substitutes or employees often, when I do it is usually positive and I can email managers whenever I need something.

Internal Communication

Weekly email updates from my employer help me stay up on what's going on in different schools.

Career Development

They do have professional development but there is not a lot of growth available through my current position.

Overall compensation for your work

This is determined by the school districts that work through my company rather than the company itself, most districts pay well, some do not.

I can substitute when I choose and take off when I need to.

They offer plenty of training opportunities both required and optional.

Challenging Work

I work at a variety of schools, some schools can be very challenging others are relatively easy.

Suggestions for improvement

  • It would be helpful if the company would be able to make suggestions for or offer employment during winter break and summer months for substitutes that need or would like to earn money during those times as well.

If you need a steady consistent paycheck some parts of the year can be challenging such as during winter break, all schools are off at the same time and there are no suggestions or support for subs looking to make money during that time. There is no summe
