No support whatsoever. Micromanagement to the extreme.
The staff was very supportive of the manager.
Freedom to work independently
No independent decisions allowed on any level. All and every question had to be referred to owner prior to action by manager.
Response to any question or request never given timely. Very indecisive. Very disorganized. Owner office kept in complete disarray. Very frustrating.
All staff treated as less intelligent.
No option for staff to develop skills outside of office.
Overall compensation for your work
No policies or procedures for evaluations or pay increases. No disciplinary policies. No evaluations ever done. Rules made up according to whim and changed the same way.
Office / Work Environment
New office great improvement over previous location. No storage was included in remodel of new office. Storage a big problem.
Practice manager expected to be available 7 days a week many, many weeks.
Job security without a doubt. You will not be fired for just about anything. However, you will be harrassed and berated until you have either an ulcer or you resign.
Safety is a very low concern with this practice. No inservices or staff education ever offered or suggested.
If you want a challenge you will never master, work here.

The staff was very good. For the most part, very good attendance and productivity. They are friendly, helpful and courteous.

Extremely high health insurance deductible for price paid. Being micro-managed and untrusted. Being treated as if I was stupid. Disorganized owner. No positive feedback from owner. Insufficient credit limit to pay clinic bills monthly. So many things...
