Support from management
Team leaders and other supervisory staff tend to micromanage and not support those under them. The higher-ups literally are that. They call the third floor the penthouse. The measly workers are on the second floor, where the office-space and cubicles are horrid, unlike the well-lit spacious offices in the penthouse.
co-workers are the best part of the organization; unfortunately teamwork is frowned upon by higher-ups
Suggestions for improvement
- Encourage conversation, and LISTEN to your employees! Don't just pretend to listen. Stop with so many mandatory meetings where nothing is accomplished. Everyone there is waiting to leave so they can do work as not to get yelled at for not being productive enough. Also, some team leaders should NOT be working there. I mean how many complaints have to be received about someone before they are disciplined?
What I like about the company
Being able to telework from home is the best.
What I dislike about the company
It used to be different-better. It used to truly be a family-type of environment where everyone knows each other and is treated with respect. It did not used to always be about the money, but the consumers used to come first. That has changed. The management has become money-hungry and promotes fraudulent Medicaid billing just to get the numbers up.
