CandidateApplied as Instructional Designer at The Csi Companies Inc in Jacksonville, FL in 2018.

Suggestions for improvement

I applied for 2 consulting positions. The same jobs are posted serially and the start dates are out of date. Some recruiting companies/jr. recruiters do this to create a "bank of consultants." I suspect this is that type of ad - not really a job - just career enhancement maneuvers used by jr. recruiters at the expense of consultants.

CandidateApplied as Vice President, Technology at The CSI Companies in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2017.

Suggestions for improvement

Seems to be a recruiter for a Fort Lauderdale, FL area firm. Totally unprofessional in that there was *no* response at all. I rarely engage with recruiters unless it's a retained search and they reach out to me - for precisely this reason. I've been a VP or C-level for the past 20 years in three industries, but I'm relocating to the area and was interested in this role. As far as I could tell by the 30-day non-response all they did was put my attached resume into a "grinder" and the right keywords didn't pop out.

Monster is only as good as the companies that use it - so perhaps you should focus on (or highlight) principal-to-principal or retained search opportunities. Contingency recruitment is generally a waste of time at the VP-level and above.
