Support from management
I happen to work during the holidays and even though I worked extra hours, I was left asking for assistance with no avail as well as left at the office alone for multiple days doing my best to figure things out on my own.....
Any recruiting role requires extra hours although, when first starting, guidelines should be established. Get used to being told its just an 8am to 5pm when they actually want you to work 7am to 8pm..
Perform, Perform, Perform with no experience or help....
Any time you can help someone improve their career it is rewarding but extremely challenging.
Suggestions for improvement
- Be more clear about what hours a new employee would need to work to be successful. Clearly identify what the expectations are and what will be difficult for the first year. Do not leave a new employee in the office for multiple days as a new employee.
What I dislike about the company
No training. Treated disrespectfully. Condenscending tone when asking for help. Treated as an office assistant. Forced to work during holidays alone because I had just started working during a very slow time.
