If you work for BI Incorporated in Colorado you are lucky. Otherwise, the different offices around EU are a lot different. They recruit big group of mostly bilingual (English/Spanish) people to work with the Spanish speaking Participants. You think you are being recruited to do Case Managing work when in fact, that's the last you do for their population. From the beginning they discourage you to do this type of work. If you have any concerns or questions, they find a way to terminate you.
Support from management
Read previous comments.
If you are an Assistant/CS/or Cm the older employees are so overwhelmed with the workload that they are willing to help. Lots of Home visits with a ridiculous timeframe to complete.
Freedom to work independently
You are expected to do your work independently.
All communications have to be handled using their security protocols or thru the Program Manager at the office. They promote an "Open door" culture. Don't fall for this.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The CMs position involves exposure to dangerous/sketchy areas. You will notice the difference between an old colleague's HV's territory vs a new one.
You have lots of mandatory training that don't concern to your position. Only opportunity to climb the ladder is due to a vacancy. Not by merits
Overall compensation for your work
Workload (Number of cases) and timeframe to complete assignments is ridiculous.
Office / Work Environment
Depends on what office you work for.
Company has a bad reputation.
The turnover is ridiculous and if you talk about something that is interfering with your ability to complete your job, they will find a way to terminate you.
Don't even bother to ask if you are not in the main office (CO).
Depends on the office you get assigned to.
If you are looking to be a Probation officer with different name, then you will find this interesting.
Inclusive / Diverse
Suggestions for improvement
- Not sure of any. The company survives because no one else will do this type of work.
What I like about the company
Good colleagues. New employee training is provided and you get to travel to Boulder, CO.
Participants make your job easy, they cooperate.
What I dislike about the company
Extremely controlled environment.
