Support from management
No training, no clear direction or expectations, and they yell and demean you.
Freedom to work independently
Sometimes it's as if women are preferred.
Company growth is dismal but the array of experience can easily be taken to greener pastures.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay is way below industry/market averages.
Office / Work Environment
it's an office and it gets cleaned nightly, nothing impressive. Technology is old.
some departments are able to work 8-5, others are forced weekly OT, or worse are not informed till 4:59 they need to stay OT.
the image it has cultivated for itself is accurate.
Most positions are pretty secure since they can't afford to let go of people.
I think the building is ADA compliant.
there was never a safety drill training.
Clients are mentally unstable so that's challenging, the work is repetitive so after a while you know what to do.
Suggestions for improvement
- Maybe if Management took leadership classes they would know how to treat employees like human beings.
What I like about the company
I loved the location. it is close to many food/shopping options so its easy to do errands during lunch.
What I dislike about the company
the salary was insultingly low, there was no change for growth, there is a lot of time/work demands w/o recognition. Management has a habit of being disrespectful and yelling at staff. there are way too many things to list.
