Attitude towards older colleagues

Short staffing to the point of overwork. No support from management. They seem to add to the mess that the pharmacy became. I blame the pharmacy merchandiser. He had the power to fix things but ignored any improvements. Quit after 18 years.

Overall compensation for your work

Overall short pay.

Challenging Work

Pharmacy is a great experience but management killed all hope of wanting to make it a career with them. I'm just one of a number of folks who feel the same about this company.

Beware

1.61

Company Culture

Very much fear based

Support from management

Zero support from management. The expectations are unrealistic and they don't help achieve business goals.

Teamwork

Everyone looks out for themselves

Freedom to work independently

Management rides you until the job is done.

Internal Communication

Company metrics are shared sometimes daily or weekly depends on management

Work-Life Balance

You either work their schedule or find another job. Part time is slightly more flexible.

Internal Communication

Managers are hard to get a hold of, but will listen if you manage to get their attention.

Overall compensation for your work

Raises are hard to come by.

Suggestions for improvement

  • I think the union for this area is a bit impersonal, and thus makes decisions that are very generic, like baggers not being able to ever get raises. If the representation was better that would be great.

What I like about the company

It is a good place to work in terms of the environment.
