The stores act as a family given how much time you spend together. This is both a positive and a negative. You are expected to be 100% personally invested in success and work/life balance is a major issue.
Support from management
It’s very much a boss-first mentality
Nights, weekends, holidays are all part of the game. They say that you have personal holidays in lieu of these but do not allow them to be scheduled.
Suggestions for improvement
- Stop the micromanagement and allow your teams to run the stores.
