Support from management
It's a miracle if your bosses get back to you within the same week or even month on a problem. Too busy gossiping about employees and talking to help.
Fellow case managers help when they can. 350-450 clients per case manager can get crazy
Freedom to work independently
Have to have an "open door" at all times, even with very in depth calls with clients. Managing attorney is paranoid of employees "stealing his money" because they need to be able to hear themselves think in this glorified call center
The only way you move up is if management quits or gets fired. Then it's based on seniority and sucking up rather than work quality and ability
Overall compensation for your work
350-500 clients. $12 an hour. No assistance is available most of the time. Overtime almost required to keep up. Need I say more?
Office / Work Environment
Hostile at best. Need to stretch your legs, better not let management catch you. They don't really condone being friendly and upbeat with colleagues. You're expected to stay at your desk for 8 hours nonstop.
Again, the general staff is great, friendly and supportive. It DOES NOT make up for the management. They are cold at best, abusive at their worst. One attorney, rhymes with nimrod, is notorious about screaming at staff on a whim. If foul language and lack of decorum bother you, do not even apply.
Walmart of disability.
Varies on management's mood. They really can't afford to fire people, but they do pretty much if they don't like you. Regardless of work quality.
Not difficult work, just too much to do in 8 hours.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diversity is good here, but also turnover rate is through the roof, so I don't think this is purposeful.
Suggestions for improvement
- Complete management overhaul. Stop treating employees as though they are disposable.

Pretty much everything else. Pettiness, poor pay, inadequate benefits, and hostile work environment. VERY likely to retaliate on employees. Complain about something, you're not getting your raise at 6 months due to interpersonal reasons...
