Company Culture

Very open to all cultures

Support from management

Main duty keep children safe. We were not involved in decision making and there was poor communication

Teamwork

It was very uncomfortable working there. Certain employees were favored due to family relationship didn't seem fair.

Freedom to work independently

I was trusted to work with 24 children at a time. Ratio was 12 kids per teacher I was always over ratio.

Internal Communication

There was no communication. Their main concern was just to keep the children safe no teaching was enforced

Gender Equality

Yes only woman worked there.

Attitude towards older colleagues

They would hire any one willing to accept minimum wage they don't discriminate.

Career Development

As I stated earlier when we were under different management things were different. Workshops were necessary and recommended. Which was great but as of now no they don't support further training unless it benefits the daycare.

Overall compensation for your work

I was paid minimum wage and I was I in charge of alot. I felt I was not compensated fairly. There was no benefits and no child care provided.

Office / Work Environment

The rooms were set up properly but they just need to be more on top of sterilizing toys and tables.

Environmental Friendliness

They didn't recycle but they did have garbage cans in every room and big ones outside.

Work-Life Balance

I was getting paid minimum wage as a lead teacher my assistant was paid the same amount for doing less work. I have 2 small children and it was costly to have my children watched while I worked. There was no pressure but I always helped out as much as I could it was never appreciated.

Company Image

At first I was very proud. I enjoy working with kids but when things changed it became very depressing.

Job Security

They seem stable enough. The pay is very little and they over charge parents.

Challenging Work

When our old boss ran the daycare it was challenging but great. We had class schedules and we took classes to help us become better care givers. I was very proud of the work I produced then Olga left and it was no longer important for us to teach the children according management.

Inclusive / Diverse

All major decisions werr made by management. No other ideas were supported.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Treat all children equally with love and affection.Keep personal comments about others to yourself.

I loved working with the children

What I dislike about the company

The rules were never followed correctly, I felt I was over worked ,not compensated fairly and many other issues.
