- It is difficult to make suggestions to a management team that is not willing to listen to others' ideas for success.
I like about the employer
Very fair salaries.
I dislike about the employer
Upper management (General Manager, HR manager, Med Review manager) unprofessional and racist. If an employee is not well-liked by this group of people, they will search and dig for things to perform corrective action with, even if the employee was an exemplary employee, in order to be able to terminate that employee. They would not investigate complaints from employees about management. Favoritism and nepotism are clearly evident and if an individual does not 'fit in' they are terminated or asked to resign without any warning. Previous manager for med review was very fair and honest, but now, all employees must watch their backs for fear of retaliation from the new one (started Oct 2016). When an employee is terminated, they then send an email out telling the remaining staff to value their jobs more than they valued their friendship with the employee who was just let go. Very threatening statements. The new med review manager is dishonest and untrustworthy, as well as a bully. Workplace violence is condoned at The Marker group. Employees throughout the company are laid off on a frequent basis through mass layoffs because the company does not seem to be able to handle the fluctuating workloads. One month they'll hire 50 people and the next month they'll lay off 75 people.
