The Missouri Bar experience report

  • 01.Nov 2016
  • Employee

Initial dream job quickly became a nightmare

2.44

Company Culture

Felt extremely cut throat and unwelcoming

Support from management

Were never really clear in what they wanted from me and never really supported any thing I created, though they are now using a design that I initially provided.

Teamwork

Worked on an island and my managers did not interact in a very honest or direct manner.

Freedom to work independently

Lots of micromanagement without any clear path to figure out.

Internal Communication

Poorly formed goals if any and never really expressed what I was to do.

Office / Work Environment

Fellow employees that were not management were great to work with, but managers created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Environmental Friendliness

Bare minimum recycling program.

Work-Life Balance

Never felt peer pressure to work extra hours, great holidays.

Challenging Work

Work was challenging, but made more than it should have been by poor communications.
