Rewards for a job well done? I wish. Poor performance is punished, but not as much as good performance, which is seen as a threat.
Support from management
I reported to the Director of Human Resources. To my knowledge, she is still there, though her title may have changed. Supervisors at all levels of the organization had a tendency to be abusive to employees, but it was well known to the lower level employees (such as myself) that I got the worst treatment. Not one day passed without an impossible to fill request, a contradictory directive, or a personal insult. Many employees complained about the way they were treated by those in charge, but complaining to the Human Resources Director about managers behaving badly was like complaining to David Duke about racism. Ineptitude doesn't begin to describe the HR function at The Oncenter.
